Meet the EX5200 Switch

The EX5200 is a 1-U (19-in. wide) rack-mountable high-speed switch providing Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) capabilities and a switching bandwidth of 980 gigabit per second (Gbps).

  • EX5200-24MP/EX5200-24T: 640 Gbps (unidirectional)/ 1280 Gbps (bidirectional)

  • EX5200-48MP/EX5200-48T: 880 Gbps (unidirectional)/ 1760 Gbps (bidirectional)

The following are the EX5200 switch models and their configurations.

Virtual Chassis (VC)

Have dedicated Virtual Chassis ports (VCPs) that you can use to interconnect member switches of a Virtual Chassis.
