protect (hierarchy | statement | identifier)
Description
Protect a hierarchy, statement, or identifier from modification or deletion.
Options
| hierarchy | (Optional) Protect a specific hierarchy. |
| statement | (Optional) Protect a specific statement. |
| identifier | (Optional) Protect a specific identifier. |
none
Required Privilege Level
configure—To enter configuration mode, but other required privilege levels depend on where the statement is located in the configuration hierarchy.
