Syntax

Description

Create an element node in the output document.

Attributes

name

Specifies the name of the element to be created. The value of the name attribute can be set to an expression that is extracted from the input XML document and evaluated at run time. To do this, enclose an XML element in curly brackets, as in <xsl:element name="{$isis-level-1}".
