Configure the Flow Collector using SSH

You can manually configure the flow collector credentails through SSH, by providing the IP address and username and password for the HPE Networking Apstra Data Center Director controller.

To configure the flow collector:

  1. SSH to the Flow VM with the default VM username and password (apstra/apstra).
  2. Modify the /etc/juniper/flowcoll.yml file. The following values apply to the Apstra controller:

    • EF_JUNIPER_APSTRA_API_ADDRESS: "10.28.111.3" (replace this value with your Apstra DC Director controller IP)

    • EF_JUNIPER_APSTRA_API_PASSWORD: "admin" (replace this value with your Apstra DC Director controller password)

    • EF_JUNIPER_APSTRA_PORT: "443" (default port)

    • EF_JUNIPER_APSTRA_API_TLS_ENABLE: "true"

    • EF_JUNIPER_APSTRA_API_USERNAME: "admin" (replace this value with your Apstra controller username)
